Volunteering in South Africa in social projects, you can choose between two main locations, Cape Town and Johannesburg, where you will take part in different types of work.

In Cape Town, you could work with mistreated and abandoned children, in schools, instruct sport lessons, or work in health clinics, hospitals, or AIDS prevention projects.

In Johannesburg, participants work mainly in orphanages and children’s homes in the township of Soweto, where children affected by AIDS live.
